Under the Remaking Our Heartland initiative launched in 2007, Dawson will be transformed and regenerated with new housing blueprints. Developed by the Singapore Improvement Trust (SIT) in the 1950s, Dawson Estate was previously known as Princess and Duchess estates. Today, older flats have given way to new ones and heritage buildings are incorporated into future developments... a place where past, present and future come together to create a vibrant HDB community.
